Privacy policy

Public Adjusters Directory (publicadjusters.fyi) is a directory of licensed public adjusters and loss assessors who act for policyholders. This policy says what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

  • Account data: the email address you sign in with and your sign-in session.
  • Claim data: the details you provide to prove a listing is yours, such as your licence number and a matching email address.
  • Listing data: the public adjuster details and corrections you submit for publication.
  • Billing records: which plan each listing holds, kept so we can serve it. Card details go to Stripe, our payment processor, and never touch our servers.
  • Technical data: hashed IP addresses used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

What we do with it

We use your data to run the directory: to keep you signed in, to verify claims, to publish the listing content you provide, to bill paid plans, and to keep the site and its forms safe from abuse. Our public forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. We do not sell personal data, and we share it only with the processors that run the service: our hosting provider and Stripe for billing.

Cookies

We set a sign-in session cookie when you log in, and our bot protection may set its own short-lived cookies. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data. Published listing facts that are also public record may stay on the site with your account detached. To exercise any of these rights, write to support@publicadjusters.fyi from the address you signed in with.
