Is a public adjuster worth it?
A public adjuster is worth it only when the extra payment is larger than the fee. Enter the insurer's offer, your own estimate of the loss and the fee rate, and we check that for you.
How we calculated this
We assume the insurer pays your full estimate and the fee is taken from the whole payment. That is the best case for hiring a public adjuster.
The answer is yes when what you keep after the fee is at least 10 percent above the offer, maybe when it is above the offer by less than that, and no otherwise.

Questions
- Why does the tool assume my full estimate is paid?
- No one can know what an insurer will pay. The best case shows when a public adjuster cannot help: if the fee cancels the gain even then, it will also cancel it in a worse case.
- What if there is no offer yet?
- Enter 0 as the offer. The answer then shows what you keep after the fee.
